If you want to connect another pair of speakers to your stereo or Hi-Fi and don't have another pair of speaker terminals you can use a speaker switch box; they are similar to the switch boxes above but they allow you to listen to any combination of the speakers you have connected whilst keeping the load presented to the amplifier the same.
